Chora Island is a white sand beach with few visitors, located in front of the coast of Samara. This stand-up paddle and snorkeling tour will allow you to easily row to the island where you can dive and snorkel. Get your workout done and enjoy the scenery while your guide shows you the way. Accessible for all levels. The guide will provide you with a short safety training, the board and snorkel equipment are included.
Wild Macaws Sanctury
The Wild Macaws Sanctuary is an organization dedicated to the survival of the Costa Rican native macaws. Previously extinct in this area of Guanacaste, the red macaw is back! Punta Islita hosts the Macaws Breeding Center and Refuge organization, where they rescue hurt birds from both species that cannot be freed; they keep them with the goal of reproducing. Then, their offspring are freed into the wild. They have freed more than 50 red macaws, creating the now famous wild scarlet macaw.
